Mr. Callan works on the development of algorithms for biomedical data processing. Prior to Picofemto, he worked on the analysis of preclinical image data at inviCRO, LLC. Mr. Callan has also worked at Schlumberger, where he developed algorithms for NMR imaging devices. Mr. Callan holds B.S. degrees in Physics and Mathematics from Brandeis University. While a senior at Brandeis, Mr. Callan completed an honors thesis regarding a novel formula to compute a quantity in information theory. His results provided strong support for the validity of the conjecture and were published in the Journal of High Energy Physics. In addition, his academic honors include the Dean's list and the Physics Faculty prize.
